This marked the first outdoor show of this kind for Storytyme. We had a great time playing tunes in the sun. We played at around 2:30 and the thermometer was saying 94 degrees in the shade, so needles to say it was caliente amigo. There were two stages set up and the bands rotated one after the other for damn near 12 hours. 10 bands, live music all day and night. It was a great time. One aspect of this show that made it even more weird was the "no applause rule" the neighboors have told the hosts that they can have outdoor concerts, they don't mind the music, its the sound of the crowd that echoes through the valley. So despite all urges to stand up and shout during climactic moments, you had to contain and were only allowed to snap and shh. Very strange. Also very cool. So we were really stoked to get to play at the Tax Man show. We would love to do it again. Thanks to everyone who invited us and to all those who came along for the ride. See you all again soon.
